📍The God’s Thumb hike just north of Lincoln City was easily our favorite hike along the Oregon Coast. With unimpeded 360-degree views that were equal parts amazing and disorienting, if you only have time for one hike on your next Oregon coast road trip, God’s Thumb should be at the top of your list! Our next stop on the road to Astoria was a quick pit stop at Seal Rock, located between Waldport and Newport. Stop 1 on the road to Astoria: Cape Perpetua Scenic Area. A few of our favorite pictures from our first month on the Oregon coast! A Saturday spent chasing waterfalls. We’re loving Oregon! We’ve become obsessed with all the cute seaside towns, rocky beaches, massive cliffs, and lush forests! Let’s talk about something important - fish and chips. Still pinching ourselves that we get live in places like this!! It’s backcountry permit planning season, and we’re so ready for more summer mornings in the backcountry!
